Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. First we went for a hike.
Not being such an experienced hiker, particularly not with a group, I can't say if it is normal or not that we kept losing each other.
Did you know that in German they don't say "herding cats" but rather "moving fleas"? I don't know how to say it in Macedonian or Hungarian because that cat and flea had fled whilst this particular discussion was taking place.
One of the Germans and I made it to the top of the world.
When we got there he felt the need to take a peek over the edge.
The Hungarian made it, too. She took a peek inside instead.
The American felt the need to do some shadow dancing.
Then, as I was saying, a Hungarian, a Macedonian, 2 Germans, and an American walk in to a bar...
So good to see a new blog, dear Lynn. Sounds like an eventful hike. Hopefully, you all found the bar ? Happy new year wishes for both you and David. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the Macedonian? Did he/she get seriously lost? Hopefully not.
ReplyDeleteAnd like Brenda says: Good to have you back on your blog.
